Double Happiness as a Candle
The Chinese character “Double Happiness” (which is commonly used on wedding invitations) is designed in this free wedding invitation template that it looks like a candle. The main concept behind is to tweak the traditional double happiness symbol so that we can create something modern and unique.
You may have seen various wedding invitation cards with double happiness design. Usually, they are quite traditional. It is true that the symbol, in the form of paper cutting design, is always unique and elegant. However, it will be more perfect if the symbol can be treated in a modern way. This is our intention of creating this invitation design. Candles are extensively used when it comes to a wedding. For example, brides and grooms may use them to make the wedding favors or the centerpiece on the table. This inspires us to come to the idea of combining a candle with the double happiness symbol. The combination creates a unique and modern feeling. It is attempted to incorporate the idea of traditional candle wedding favor into a Chinese wedding invitation design.
Variations of the Design
We have also created a few variations of the this “candle double happiness” design so that the wedding card can fit even better to your wedding. We have created the design in three different colors. The red, orange and royal blue. You can use the one which you love the most. You can also change the colors (or even the patterns) yourself if you can master graphic software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
