A Message of Double Happiness – Chinese Wedding Invitation

This Chinese wedding invitation features two mandarin ducks (鴛鴦) playing together as a couple. The meaning of it is that these two mandarin ducks will always be together. This will signify the idea that the couple will be together forever. There is also a double happiness symbol along with the mandarin duck.

Besides the mandarin ducks and double happiness symbol, lotus can also be seen on the cover of the card. Lotus means fertility in Chinese culture. With all these patterns and symbols, this invitation card expresses the best wishes to the newly-married couple to stay in love forever.

The colors of the invitation is gold and red. The cover is gold in color and the insert is red in color. Gold color wordings are printing on the insert. This type of color combination is very traditional in terms of wedding invitations. It is the colors of celebration.
